HALAS NAMED ALL-STATE

Senior COMMANDO #82 Austin Halas has been named Tennessee Football Coaches Association class 6A All-State as a defensive athlete for the 2018 season. Halas had the ability to play and be effective at multiple positions on the defensive line. He finished the season with 74 tackles, 9.5 sacks, 6 tackles for loss, and 2 fumble recoveries. He was a force for the COMMANDOS defensive front where he consistently made big plays. We are very proud of Austin’s accomplishments. Austin was also named Region 4-6A’s ‘Defensive Player of the Year’ as well as Sumner County’s ‘Defensive Player of the Year’.
